2025 Performing Art Opportunities for Schools

There are three options available for schools; field trip performances, assembly performances, and workshops.
You must be a school to sign up for these performances.

1) Field trip performances are open to all public, charter, private, and home schools in our service area.  Field trips are $5 per student and we ask that students are not required to pay, but rather the school or PTO find funds to cover the cost for students to attend.  All field trip performances will be located at Fox Cultural Hall at 8707 North Lake Blvd, Kings Beach.

2) Assembly performances are when the performers and our staff come to your school and perform on your school stage or gym.  To sign up for an assembly for your whole school, your school must have a stage, gym, or performance space that can accommodate the performers and has seating for your whole school.  If you don’t have a large enough space and would like an assembly, please contact us and we can discuss alternate options.

3) A workshop is when the performers teach a in-depth master class in an artistic subject such as improv or song-writing.  Workshops are intended for a smaller group of students such as a music class, a whole grade, or a school club.

Molodi Unplugged – International Museum of Dance – Step | Rhythm | Energy | Harmony

Molodi is a high energy performance ensemble using Step and Body Percussion to produce complex rhythms and choreography. Woven into our history, we discover the power of Black percussive dance in America. Students will join MOLODI cast members on a journey tracing Body Percussion and Stepping to its origins.

Assemblies promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and self-confidence in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Assemblies host high-energy performance pieces from MOLODI’s repertoire featuring Body Percussion and Stepping with insights into the cultural histories of the art forms.

Right In The Eye – Alcoléa & Cie

Right in the Eye (En plein dans l’œil) is a mutltimedia show composed of 12 films by Georges Méliès, a pioneer of the Cinema and a wizard of special effects.

On stage, three virtuoso musicians play some fifty different instruments, including rare and unique ones, breathing fresh impetus into these cinematographic gems.

In a subtly-staged setting, in perfect symbiosis with the imagery, the musicians transport us in an inventive production, performed both onstage and onscreen, that reflects the creative genius of Méliès.
